We are delighted to share with you the exciting retained search we are conducting to recruit Metro Credit Union’s (www.metrocu.org) Senior Vice President of Sales, Business Development, & Community Relationships. With over $3 billion in assets and approximately 220,000 members, Metro is the largest state-chartered credit union based in Massachusetts. Headquartered in Chelsea and founded in 1926, our Client enjoys a reputation for exceptional member service and extraordinary commitment to the communities it serves. Metro operates 18 full-service branches throughout Greater Boston, with membership throughout most of MA and much of Southern New Hampshire.
In this newly created role, this Executive will serve as an integral member of Senior Management. This is an outstanding opportunity to drive new revenue opportunities and strategically grow a progressive and highly regarded Financial Services organization of scale. Metro is a local, member-focused alternative to larger banks with a culture that fosters teamwork, collaboration, creativity, and member commitment.
Key priorities include:
- Drive all aspects of sales and business development across the Organization. Determine the most effective approach to promote new business initiatives, resulting in quantifiable, profitable growth.
- Facilitate the expansion of the Credit Union's market. Elevate Metro’s presence with consumers and the community through the development of strong community relationships and the effective promotion of products and services.
- Accelerate a growth mindset across all areas of the Organization.
- Develop and coach a more effective, accountable, and confident sales team. Ensure that proper training and a proactive business development culture are established to enable all employees to effectively promote and sell the various products and services offered.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Minimum ten years of Financial Services sales, business development, marketing, and/or member service experience (or equivalent). Direct management experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in business development, market expansion, and partnership management (or equivalent).
- History of P&L responsibility, analyzing opportunities to drive revenue while reducing costs (or equivalent).
The salary range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 and does not include benefits and bonus potential. Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function, and associated responsibilities, as well as a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
