We are delighted to share with you the exciting Senior Vice President of Human Resources search we are conducting for our long-time Client, St. Mary’s Credit Union (“SMCU” www.stmaryscu.org). Founded in 1913, this progressive, member-centric one-billion-dollar credit union serves consumers and local businesses through seven offices in Marlborough, Framingham, Hudson, Northborough, and Westborough. 


This is an exciting time to join SMCU. Reporting directly to the new President & CEO, this executive will serve as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team. The new CEO is a dynamic leader who brings new energy and a growth vision that will engage and challenge all employees. The culture is relationship-driven and highly service-oriented.


Key priorities include:

  • Serve as the Credit Union’s Chief Human Resources/People Officer. 
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training & Development, Total Rewards, and associated Human Resources Administration.
  • Develop and execute an innovative and contemporary people strategy. 
  • Actively contribute to the formulation and implementation of Credit Union-wide strategies and objectives, including the recently announced merger. 


The successful candidate will bring:

  • Strong track record of people leadership and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources management. 
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in Human Resources (or equivalent).
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant Federal, State, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to Human Resources within a regulated industry is highly preferred. 
  • Relevant Human Resources certifications (i.e., CHRP, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) are desired.
