KLR Executive Search Group is proud to partner with a leading national environmental remediation company to recruit a Senior Sales Estimator with a proven track record and an existing book of business in environmental remediation. With revenues of over $100M, the Company performs asbestos abatement, lead paint abatement, PCB abatement, mold removal, and selective interior demolition. With a focus on safety and growth, the Company is making continuous profitable investments. 

Position Overview: 

The Senior Sales Estimator will work out of the Company’s Massachusetts office, located just north of Boston, which serves customers in the New England region. The right candidate will work with other estimators collaboratively to develop and secure orders from new and existing customers for environmental remediation services by means of current industry contacts, reviewing industry reports, visiting potential customers, soliciting by phone, and networking. The successful candidate will be strong in customer relations, estimating, and overall project management.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities and secure contracts for environmental remediation and selective interior demolition projects.

• Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements.

• Attend pre-bid walk-through meetings at customer’s site.

• Prepare bids and quotes.

• Enter estimating information into Sales-Force CRM software.

• Provide Work-in-Progress (WIP) updates to management as required.

• Brief Project Managers and Supervisors on project scope, schedule and staffing requirements and follow-up on project status.

• Perform notifications and work with administrative staff to obtain required permits.

• Work with Operations, Project Managers, and Supervisors to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

• Work with Administrative Staff on pre-qualification and pre-bid submittals.

Required Education and Experience:

• Has maintained and grown an existing, successful, book of business in environmental remediation.

• Demonstrated experience writing successful proposals, work plans, and estimates.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word) and accounting/estimating software.

• Estimating and Bidding Course (or equivalent).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
