Position Overview:

Kerkering Barberio seeks a strategic, experienced Senior Manager to lead and expand its International Tax Practice. Reporting to the Managing Shareholder, this is a high-impact leadership role with an existing book of business and full firm support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing international tax team.

• Oversee client lifecycle and implement strategic initiatives.

• Partner with firm leadership on growth, staffing, and operations.

• Represent the firm in the community and professional networks.

• Manage and grow client relationships.

• Deliver strategic international tax solutions.

• Expand the practice through outreach and referrals.

• Supervise the preparation and review of international tax filings (e.g., 1040NR, 5471, 1120F, 8865, 8992, etc.).

• Advise on cross-border transactions, GILTI, foreign credits, and U.S. tax treaties.

• Apply current tax law to optimize client outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring:

• 10+ years of U.S. tax experience with international exposure.

• Expertise in individual and business tax returns.

• Strong leadership and mentorship record.

• A Florida CPA license is required.
