  • With over $3.6BN in assets, our client is the mutual holding company for three independent community banks with twenty-five locations.
  • River Run’s Board seeks a well-rounded financial services executive with a track record that includes transformational leadership within a dynamic, evolving organization.
  • The new President & CEO will build upon a solid foundation established to position River Run as the local bank of choice for customers and the mutual holding company of choice for community minded mutual banks.

Key priorities include:

  • Direct all organizational activities while serving as River Run’s thought leader and visionary.
  • In conjunction with the Board, establish Strategic Plan and related goals and objectives.
  • Guide and support Bank Presidents and Executive Management.
  • Develop strong relationships with potential new affiliate banks to expand River Run’s group of quality bank affiliates.

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Multifaceted financial services background that includes exposure to all aspects of Lending, Finance/ALM foundation, IT and Digital fluency, Retail/Operations/Marketing knowledge, Wealth Management & Trust Services appreciation, and/or solid understanding of Credit/Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance requirements (or equivalent).
  • Proven success serving as a visionary change agent and strategic partner.
  • Outstanding leadership, management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated appreciation for and commitment to mutuality and a track record of active community and/or industry involvement strongly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $550,000-$775,000, plus additional benefits and bonus potential. Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function, and associated responsibilities, as well as a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
