We are partnering with a fast-growing, founder-led Real Estate investment firm expanding rapidly throughout the Northeast to recruit a Director of Accounting & Finance. This critical leadership role is for a strategic finance professional ready to shape financial strategy and drive scalable accounting operations.

Position Overview:

• This role provides an exciting opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team while leading all core finance, accounting, and reporting functions. The Director of Finance & Accounting will:
• Lead the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Provide forward-looking financial analysis, projections, and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and implement accountability frameworks across departments.
• Build and optimize accounting infrastructure and systems to support rapid growth and efficiency.
• Serve as a banking liaison and oversee relationships with external vendors and advisors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, technology, and operations teams.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising performance.
• Act as a key financial thought partner to the President and Executive Team.
• Prepare financial reports for internal review and external audit by third-party CPA advisors.

The Successful Candidate Will Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).

• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to lead hands-on transactional work.
• Demonstrated success in building scalable processes and leveraging accounting technology.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
