The firm has a strong record representing employers in defending claims related to discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and other workplace matters, along with significant experience in litigating non-disclosure, non-competition, and non-solicitation agreements, including seeking or opposing preliminary and permanent injunctions.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an Associate with 1+ years of employment litigation experience interested in joining a dynamic and sophisticated Labor, Employment, and Employee Benefits Practice Group. This position will sit under a hybrid model out of the firm's Westborough office.
Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, court documents, briefs, and client advice letters.
- Advise public and private-sector employers on labor, employment, and human resources issues.
- Assist with collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant Employment Litigation experience.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school & current admission in good standing to the Massachusetts Bar is required.
- Must have the capacity to interact effectively with clients.
- Strong drafting & verbal communication skills, the ability to solve practical problems, and comfortability working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting.
